HUMOUR: New SFB Motivational Posters (sic.)...

Hi Everyone,

I thought I should quickly make a small post about my friend, Andreas Udby's AKA Javelin-98's web site... He's a great guy, very generous with his time, generous with sharing his many fan-created game aids and always ready to brandish his wicked sense of humour!

The above poster is only one of many that he desihned on a lark... snarky spoofs of "motivatial posters" made for gamers. You can find a larger version of the poster here (...as well as the rest of the series):

Just in case you were wondering, the poster features an image of an ACTUAL Star Fleet Battles (SFB) game record sheet... just a wee bit complex, you might say...

HUMOUR: Scooby Dooby Doo & Cthulhu too... What the ?@$%@*! Dagnabit! Pesky meddling kids!

Another one of those weird mornings in which two things that I don't normally associate with each other come together... AGAIN!

So, there I was, surfing the Internet, when I came across this post at TMP:

Someoene has come up with stats for the entire "crime fight'in gang and their loveable mutt TM"... for the wildly lethal Call of Cthulhu HORROR game! I remember the old Ghostbusters cartoon having a Cthulhu episode complete with a dishy Eastern European babe with a "va va voom" accent, but still... this is pretty wacky!

And, oddly enough, Scooby has more sanity points than the rest of the gang (I seem to recall that Fred matches him as leader of the gang)! I suppose that's because he knows when to cut and run and when to simply chow down... only Shaggy must match him in those terms...

Hi Everyone,

Some days I get up on the right side of the bed and something really funky still strikes me upside the noggin...

I also found it slightly amusing that the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is hosted on a server called venganza.org. For those of you less knowledgable of the Spanish language, venganza means revenge in English...

*** Maybe the church is really a plot by the Mexican government to subvert our youth as revenge for the "restrictive" immigration policies of the US government? ***

I mean how much chutzpah does the US have for asking Mexican immigrants to legally come to the US!

We all know that the US goverment is really a bunch of imperialist pasta-mongers!

After all, Mexico is much more a land of noodle-istic pastafarian opportunity than the US!

WEIRD NEWS: The ROBOTS Are Here, And They, Not The Dingos, Want Our Babies!

I came across this news article this morning and thought to share...

Robot Birth Simulator Gaining Popularity

Pretty cool, huh? I dont know how much dealing with a cold robot will help nurses and doctors with their bedside manner, but I'm all in favor of saving a few more lives...

It's probably all a secret conspiracy by the robots to take our babies... do ya think?
