6mm-Minis

6mm-Minis is Maksim-Smelchak's blog to discuss gaming, miniatures, books, movies, food, Israel, Judaism, life in general and other funny crud. My favorite scale of miniatures is 6mm, which is also called 1/285 or 1/300 scale. I enjoy many different kinds of games including ancients, Napoleonics, WWI, WWII, the Arab-Israeli conflict, Car Wars AKA Autoduel (a sort of crash'n'derby automobile combat game), 6mm Godzilla AKA Kaiju games, and science fiction games. I'm open to everything though!

MINI WARGAMING: Shoot-Out Tonight & Wargaming Tomorrow! (13 October 2006)

.
Hi Everyone,

There will be another Westerns game hosted tonight at Great Escape Games. A little more info from local gamer, Mark:
"This Friday, Great Escape Games, 9-player open cowboy game. - Mark"

And in other news, our friends from the local Bay Area game club, EBAG (East Bay Armchair Generals), have published photos from their recent gaming meeting.

They hosted two games:
- The Battle of Salamanca, July 22, 1812.
- Winter War, December 1939.

Check out this link for more info:

And lastly, tomorrow is the next MWSS meeting... there are lots of good games planned!

- WWI aerial game sponsored by Rob "Mako" Kent.
- The Battle of Princeton hosted by Mike O.
- WWII skirmish game run by Keith and Joe B.
- HOTT open gaming.
- Open board gaming.

Please check out the MWSS web site or Yahoo E-group for more information:

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

P.S.
And a little something for all of my readers aspiring to be WWI aviators:

May all aircraft be so finely built!
